thesetat2013
Why warn them? If they already know what is wrong to do by the gov here. Then they should just be arrested and detained.. show the world that they don't have the freedom to express their dissent about this new constitution. .. not that it matters anyway! Most of those parties would reject any constitution that they didn't write for their own benefit. And they surely wouldn't adhere or follow any constitution that was even written by themselves if they were in power. Whether the constitution is good or bad? It won't change that the army and P will remain in the background controlling everything and possible everyone P has already stated that once a new leader is elected that he will remain in the background. I honestly don't see any point in making this constitution. It won't change anything and will only make it look like they have a democratic society again, even though it would be a facade. . marcusd
constitutions are a real issue here. Are they Constitutions at all? More like a HOLD ON POWER. Prayuth is really showing he is a dunderhead. As a general Thailand can be thankful they did not have a real issue involving war as this guy is clueless. He cannot even write a speech let alone direct an army. waldroj
No honour among thieves - especially in the chicken "coup"!! Despite past assurances, it seems that there is only room for one predator in the hen house. The other "birds of a feather" had better fly the coop, or pray-utterly that they don’t fall “fowl” of this sly fox, lest they end up as his prey. GAZZPA
So apart from the publicised debate on TV they mention where are the people permitted to "debate and share" opinions on political ideas? Politicians will be holding to the people in a real democracy, don't see how this is possible when sharing any views publicly is considered illegal. I don't understand this country anymore and it's getting very scary.

JackThompson
In a country where criticizing a dog can result in a prison sentence anything is possible, even thinking illegally By "critisizing a dog," I think you mean a round-about way to insult the people who, along with the military, are the reason Thailand is not "Greater Vietnam," and sharing in their low standard of living. One would have to be ignorant and/or a jerk to want to do that, in the first place. Facebook = Zukerberg the Globalist, who is anti-sovereign nation and pro-transnational colonization of the world. He wants no borders and no national-cultures. Let's hope this referendum can be decided with Transnational-Corporate Propaganda kept out of it, to spite their billions in corporate and ngo tentacles - populated with mostly well-meaning useful-idiots who are clueless as to the big picture. He speaks in riddles on this one it may get you into trouble possibly, at our discretion, depends on my humor at the time. Its part of the road map he constantly talks about. Its the old story of if you do something wrong so many times you eventually get it right to suit your agenda. We all know his agenda folks he has no intention of bowing out gracefully. He may be at the top of the heap at present but he is being monitored by people more powerful than he. I am sure his minuses are adding up to be much more than his pluses. There are only so many minuses that the powers that be will tolerate.

tx22cb
Prayut's Constitutional referendum is too complex for most Thais. They should change the subject of the referendum to "Prexit" .... that's simple to understand and will get a huge turnout. But Prayut might not like the outcome, but he will have Cameron (and possibly Corbyn) for company.
