Dear all,

where in TH, preferably Pattaya, BKK, Kanchanaburi or online can 220-240V LED light strips be bought?

(compare product-pic, found at lightingever.co.uk)

Browsed Lazada and the web already, but could not find anything.

Thank you!

Thank you very much! Do they have any store along the route Kanchanaburi-Bangkog-Pattaya? Sorry to bother you, the website is full Thai and i couldn't work it out by myself. Thanks a lot in advance.

You can buy from Ebay - but normally it will run using a transformer and brightness is likely to be a lot less than expected and not friendly at all (bright spots) - suggest you may be much better served using normal LED version lamps made for standard fittings. What strips I bought are taking up space in unused drawer. Even shot strips for local attachment were useless as adhesive will not last long.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. I thought about an economic and easy to install indirect lighting solution without having to use transformators as in the 12V models.

Btw, i never browsed - not even been aware of - ebay.co.th. Thanks for the advice! Have a great day. Regards.

Lazada.th (in English) has an amazing range of products. I just ordered a WD back up unit and it was delivered in Chiang Mai in 3 days.

In Naklua Pornchai Electric supply shop has them, but not with the transformer built in.

I use them in my kitchen cabinets, they cut them to the length you need.

I think Crossy explained already that there are no 220V versions, they are all 12 V, bit some have the transformer built in the cord and others you just add the transformer yourself

What is the name of the electronics district in BKK over by Little India ?

there are many stores in those 3 - 4 streets that have them ,  I think better than Klong Thom area

there are also a  few shops  next to the covered parking that will make you a custom LED sign if  thats what you need,

You're thinking of the Ban Mo area near the Old Siam Plaza and Thip Wari Alley

Here 13.745558, 100.500055

yeah I never knew the name of the place ,  but its interesting to see the workers on the last street take apart ANYTHING and fi it , or at least try.....

plus winding armatures etc ,

if you are into that kind of stuff those 4 blocks will keep you interested

Are there other places like that around BKK ?
