I'm off up to Chiang Mai in a few days and wanted to know if anyone had been on any tours or activities (apart from drinking) while up there? I've been up to Chiang Mai once before but for Songkran so an entirely different experience this time round. I've read about the Doi Suthep temple and a few other places but just wondering if anyone has any tips or recommendations of things to do or see and if you can remember where and how you booked. I'm fully aware that the hotel will provide details of bookings and a quick look on Google will throw up suggestions but am always keen to hear of first hand experiences rather than websites saying how great one tour is over another. Apparently not haha. Doi Suthep and Grand Canyon are two "must do / see" places
