Cabinet passes moral promotion plan to foster peace

BANGKOK, 13 July 2016 (NNT) - The Cabinet has given approval to the national moral promotion master plan, with the intent of creating peace at all levels of society.

Minister of Culture Weera Rojpotchanarat revealed that the Cabinet at its meeting this week endorsed the national master plan for the promotion of moral integrity for the year 2016-2021 as proposed by the ministry. The objective of the plan is to involve all sectors in instilling morality, ethics and the right values in the people.

According to Mr Weera, the master plan is comprised of four strategies, with the first being to elevate the mind of public members by encouraging them to uphold religion and the monarchy. The second strategy is to strengthen related operations and mechanisms in order to promote morality in a concrete and effective manner while the third is to foster cooperation networks and role models to spearhead the effort. The last strategy seeks to turn Thailand into a model of morality for other countries in ASEAN and around the world.

The moral promotion master plan will be implemented across the country, with the related subcommittees in all ministries and provinces serving as coordinators, ensuring that the plan reaches people in all communities.

They also are experimenting with flying pigs to create environmentally friendly mass transit.

Sounds like a military planned attack strategy, the part "turn Thailand into a role model of morality" does it mean that they have to eliminate themselves or?

A hub of morality!!!

Please stop - I do like a laugh in the morning but it is beginning to hurt.

This is immoral!

Morality from people who took power at gunpoint? Very convincing indeed.

You take your morals and stick 'em where the sun don't shine.

Just when you thought you heard it all the Hub of corruption planning on teaching morality to the world. Who thinks this stuff up? Sending this to Saturday night live they won't need writers anymore just read Thai news will do.

"ethics and the right values in people"........straight out of the little red book of their forefathers!

Anyone who don't find statements like this just a little bit disturbing is blind, completely blind.

First thing they should do is take a look in the mirror.

And check their eyes for splinters.

Do we have to put a government speaker system in our house?

Guess this means some new slogans and catchy songs.

And a TAT announcement and a parade giggle.gif
