ardokano Posted July 17, 2016 Author Posted July 17, 2016 Yep the Versys 650 brakes are crap and they can't tilt/turn in the mountains. +75% depends on the rider, a shitty rider on a powerful/fast bike can easily be smoked by a skilled rider on a much less powerful bike. I am not saying my bike is better than a Ducati, I am not naive, I would love to own a Ducati 821 but due to family commitments, I will have to pass and to be honest, I am just fine with that. Anyway at +50 years of age, I go/ride much slower than I used to do, don't take any chances anymore and wants to get home riding my bike and not ending up in hospital or worse. Please do not be offended. You're not a little girl. An carful read. I not say Versys " brakes are crap and they can't tilt/turn in the mountains" I say: "Nice and comfortable bike even for two for a cruise." And yes brake it ineffective if compare with many another bike.. so yes It good bike, I like it. can go with comfort for long distantiin slow speed , sometimes( on straight part road with less car) twist the throttle and to feel the sweet feeling of acceleration) About monster 821 i do not think it good bike for long trip. Its nice for City bike and get some fun out.. And it can say bike for evry day and get some fun out.. so its can say well usability in Thailand for evry days. PSwhat are you talking about . up to 50 do not want back in home and want ending in hospital? I think all want come back to home without any problem , and no matter what age he/she is. so I do not understand why need tal about age? my uncle up 50 has 3 sport bike and few niked.. go on track or on road..
ardokano Posted July 17, 2016 Author Posted July 17, 2016 So you already bought a Ducati Diavel which you consider a good beginners bike (your words) but in your OP you want opinions on the Diavel's merits against a Honda Wave? Those are the preceding posts. where?the Diavel's merits against a Honda Wave Ok then let me explain.. If you not fun moto. but you need fast go from your home to 7 eleve, big C... beach cinema, not care about automat or like manual, easy parking not care about traffic jam and all it do for low cost.. honda wave its fine.. If you need but do not like/cant manual. you take any scooter and it be fine.. if need litlle be more far when 5 km from home to 7/11 and you tall need passenger good to look Nuovo,PCX,Nmax.. If you not care about manual exciter it very good choice...price/usability I think its best.. IF you not havy guys and want to fly in traffic for lov kost, and even got nice look bike its NOW Duke 200 ..if havy guys its be Duke 390.. If you like some fun with curve turn but still need in Thai traffic jam .. naked bike 650+ kawa Er-6n, Monster, street etc.. Diavel it in my opinium unique bike.. Ofcouse i am litle be scare when want buy.. first I want Monster for traning, but my friend(many year ride bike on track too) tell me its fine bike for me.. and friendly bike fo beginner who already know how to ride.. So i both, and I have never regretted. And yes it very big usability bike.. easy handling in THAI traffic jam if compare with touring or sport BIke. Comfort sit. Can relaxin on cruise 100-130 if got touring windscreen even on 140-170. DTC can fixes many beginner mistakes. Can be change pover engine.. but if you turn off all electronic collars its can be as wild sport bike.. I only try off DCT and top power.. but in my opinion it more for track . But i still thinking about buy small Duke.. And do not hesitate and get pleasure from fino.. previose it be scoopy and click .. when go to 7/11 or Big C
macknife Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 "I am newbie in motoworld" For a newbie you 'claim' to know a lot about and have ridden almost every bike available in Thailand.
Sooo Upto Me Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 What is this about? I can barely understand a word.then pass by sir. Well done u tell him.
ardokano Posted July 17, 2016 Author Posted July 17, 2016 "I am newbie in motoworld" For a newbie you 'claim' to know a lot about and have ridden almost every bike available in Thailand. Even not sure have 20.000 km on bike/scooter. On big bike maybe not have 4000 km included diavel. Its not bewbie? Men You mast look around. I am even about 20% bike avaibke in Thai do not say any.. And in Thai its easy try it. Ps i have filling you never be in Thai...
01322521959 Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 I always take my little Honda Tens when traffics bad bad, gets through gaps and turns between cars like no other!
VocalNeal Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Not bad. I'll add this one for a more mainstream choice. Large front tire for pot holes etc. Etc Etc. Downside might be the urge to dress like a pirate but one doesn't have to?
papa al Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Get mthe 160hp Dieval for sure. Perfect beginer bike.
ardokano Posted July 18, 2016 Author Posted July 18, 2016 Get mthe 160hp Dieval for sure. Perfect beginer bike. Why 160? Can for beginer diavel with 100 hp and up level DTC.Brake fantastic... can bracking by engine very good. Allmost from any RPM can pulled. I do not know perfect or not. But its very good bike for beginer. And very big usability. Ofcouse if need bike not only in city Traffic jam and for 7/11. And do not need big fun. I tsje any scooter and happy with them too.

OP, something seems off about your questions, your reasoning and the high end Djavel you want to buy and which your friend owns. I would most certainly not let you or anyone ride that if I had one. Q: Who let you test-ride the Djavel? IF you owned a Djavel, why would you solicit other people's opinions on which bike to buy? Surely, you can afford some more besides the Djavel? Errm, how much was that Djavel? You bought it at Ducati Thonglor? Can't shake the feeling that this is made-up stuff. Got a fertile imagination, OP?

So i both, and I have never regretted. WHEN conjunction at the time or in the event that: when we were young; when the noise stops. WHERE do YOU see I am "solicit other people's opinions on which bike to buy?" Its topic about What most usability bikes/scooters/mopeds on Thai road.. Not about what bike i want to buy .. PS I feel so sorry for you you not have real friends.. I not see any problems give my any car, bike house and another thinks, if i am not use at this is moment to my friends.. And one more thinks.. topic about most usability bikes/scooters/mopeds on Thai road Do you have any idea/ experience about this is? Or you can only offtopic?
ardokano Posted July 19, 2016 Author Posted July 19, 2016 I reckon this one..... Wow you wrong topic come. Its some - "legend moto sport", "legend engineering ", "legend GP" "Engineering genius " Etc.. But how its can be " most usability bikes/scooters/mopeds on Thai road"? If its even not for public roads. And even in time my grandfather its not be usability bike for public road anywhere... Pc I will give you Like. Because as I can see you do it for this reason - post everything without any sense? why you put a smiley face with lipstick? if there is the same without narashennyh lips . this is according to Freud? on the subconscious. or you do not hide?
ardokano Posted July 19, 2016 Author Posted July 19, 2016 My post has sense for me....We have a PCX which I rarely ride...Thai road sense tells me to forget 2 wheels...BUT, IF I had the cash I would buy an RC166 and forget about the risks..... Your OP, well we are all different, one bike for one guy will not be the one for the next guy...Homework, lots of reading, dismissing stuff....We are all different, BUT I would be happy to end my days on an RC166.....Get the/my picture...? Again its topic about usability bike on thai road... Not about dream bike.. What usability? Great to die for deep lover tgis is bike? Its amazing bike, its Engineering genius bike. I like this is bike .. Your PSX very usability scooter if no need fub on bike. Comfort sit for two. Comfort slow ride on speedway Good on trafic jam Big space ubder seats. Good resale walume But RC166? You mast kidding me?
HooHaa Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 What is this about? I can barely understand a word.then pass by sir. There's no rule on TV that an OP has to be coherent. I assume in this situation English is not the native language, and adjust my expectations accordingly. Great retort though. would personally rather read through the earnest attempts of someone for whom English is a second language than read a "native" speaker mix up looser/loser, there/their and all the other regular butchery of the language that goes on here by people who should know better.
VocalNeal Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Again its topic about usability bike on thai road...Not about dream bike.. That's why I posted the baby Hardley. But useless for popping down to the 7-Eleven for a six pack. Then you need a Zoomer-X? I'd be happy with a NSR150SP if i was limited to one bike. It's all a matter of choice.

Good resale walume But RC166? You mast kidding me? No I am not kidding.what TRANS would like in LOS..... Nobody can answer YOUR OP question because we are all different.... Like abd usability its total different. Yes all be different but bike in stok same. So if bike/scooter easy going in trafic jam it easy going.. So its useful in trafic jam. So if bike useful in many way its mean its more usability.. Or where i am wrong? As example in many Europe coutry sport bike even in Trafic jam useful. Can ride between cars. Car almost move inin the center Traffic lanes and do not change In Thailand? Many times even nit have place between cars. So need chage lane. So sport bike not big usefull in Thai road. Much more chance car cut you. And its need effencive bracking or can kicked you engine. So much more useful 650cc and up engine. On 100km/h 300 cc cant pulled your ass from the danger.. Or can ride scooter 60-100 and its be simular:) In moutans more safety bracking by engine when ride down the hill. 300 cc its almost cant.. So sport bike plastic it for aerodynamics. But its not real big deal on 100-150km/h So niked bike its real winer. And in Thai market if you try look Monster 821 and previose 796/795 Lost in resale price even less when many japan bikes 2 year it can be 20-25% lost Japan 250-800 cc can lost even 30% easy after 2 year. So if all checking Have 3 vinner imho Honda wave. 1. Price buy 2. Price resale. 3. Easy fixed. 4. Low cost use. 5. VERY good in Thailand traffic Jam 6. Can easy and evry where fixed 7. Simple used CLICK 1. Price resale(about price buy have many anotger scooter in my opinion) 2.VERY good in Thai traffic jam 3.Can easy evrywhere fixed(not compare whis wave ets) 4. Alone its be fine used slow on speedway. 5. Fine comfort 6. Place under seats. 7. Simple use even automat:) 8. Can ride in mountans if not "fat" and not long time(brakes fast get hot) Honda PCX 150 1. Very frandly scooter fo beginer.. 2. Good price. 3. Good resale price. 4. Comfort ride for two people even tall 5. Can ride on mountans even two people. But not long brakes can be hot and lost useful. 6. Fine ride in trafic jam. 7. Space under seats. 8. Can ride with relax on speedway not far.. but even two peole. DUKE 390 1. Very easy speedy drive in THAI trafic jam and its be near perfect ofcouse for bike not for scooters 2. Can speedy drive in mountans 3. Price buy. Yes yes.. its can compare with even some 500cc;) 4. Use on speedway ofcouse its not 650 cc niked kawa. But... 5. Already can filling braking by engine. 6. Pulled from low RPM so more friendly for beginer / good in mountans/slow traffic kawasaki er-6n 1. Good price buy. 2. Fine in Thai traffic jam 3. Good in mountans 4. Can bracking by engine 5. Low cost use 6. Easy and many place can fixed 7. Good for speedway but no far 8 good resale 9. Can sit second people. Monster 821 1. Good resale valume. 2. Good handling in city trafic. 3. Go for any RPM .. good for beginer, good for mountans. 4 amazing bracking( compare with many bike 300-900cc) 5. Good bracking by engine. Comfort sit in city and i mountans. 6. Good on speed way for not long distantion. 7. Can sit fine(not good but its fine) second people. 8.Fine for Thai traffic jam. 9. Good stay on road. 10. Fine resale. Some think like this is.

It's all a matter of choice. Good choice:) But can i say some things? With out zoomer why i think you can with back pack( or motobags) carry six pack.. from 7/11 And can get more fun from "baby" tgen from NSR150SP. By "Baby" can more comfort travel for more long distantion.. So from thus is 3 bike its more usability -BABY.. Ofcouse if you no need much fun NSR150SP its be good .. and cost use less. If no need bike fun. And just go to 7/11 and anotger not "far" distantion. Use in City and even beginer. Zoomer be bear perfect:) PC HD baby i am not even try so may be i was wrong NSR150SP try few dozen km. Zoomer one time got on rent few day.
