What about an accordion mesh screen that simply "collapses" (folds) to one side? Out of sight when the window is closed. More expensive but aesthetically pleasing.

I don't know anywhere that does a wood frame screen only metal frames that look (a bit) like wood. There is a shop not far from Rim Ping Meechock. Drive past Rim Ping with it on your left a if you were driving East towards Promenada. After a few hundred metres there is a place on your left that builds screens. Sorry I don't know the name but it sells all sorts of door fittings etc
