Timsun tires

Featured Replies

Good or bad? The reason i am asking is that a dealer has opened just 200 meters up the road from me. He offered me a set for my ER6N for 6300 Baht, that is why i would like to know if they are total crap or a decent tire.

Timsun is one of the better quality Chinese tire manufacturers, from experience they’re not bad. Of course they’re not as good as the other famous Chinese tire manufacturer… Pirelli – but price level is also different...

555 yes, different price for sure. I actually have Pirelli tires on the bike now.

Which Timsun tire are you interested in, if I may ask. Because I'm not sure that Timsun makes a rear 160/60 tire (of course I'm not a dealer, expert or anyway related...)

If you look for a cheaper tire option for your Kawasaki ER6n I can recommend the Mitas Sport Force+ which cost for a 160.60ZR17 4,400 THB, the front tire is probably around 3,200 THB.

With Mitas you get an tire from a European manufacturer, Czech Republic – they in business since 1933... and being a European manufacturer they also have at least European standards…

Timsun is not bad, but I’m not sure I would recommend them on a big bike, that easily pushes the limits… For scooters, 50 to 300cc all-rounder and off-road bikes I see less of a problem with Timsun. I understand that Mitas is more expensive than the Timsun offer, but tires are pretty important component of a motorcycle

They do. The guy who owns the tire shop showed it to me.
