Thai police charge two eight-year-old girls who tore down pink lists

Recommended Posts

They said in the Monkey debacle, that their lists were posted high

so an 8 year old child could not reach them, but of the monkeys did,

now 2, 8 year old kids tore the pink ones down, they should have been

posted higher,but blame the kids.

wasn't there just an article here on TVF less than a week ago about a Police Chief who was severly reprimanded for giving a break to a young boy?

Something about the Authority to make that decision is assigned to the Judiciary.

Its amazing how all of you get your knickers in a knot so quickly just by reading a manipulative headline without using your heads.

So why do we read so often that the police have decided not to charge because of if it's all down to the courts ?
Possibly because there was not sufficient evidence in other cases? Ask the Police.

In this case there is sufficient evidence that the girls tore up the pink pieces of paper and so the process has to run its course.

Its not like the article states the girls are facing a fine and/or punishment but all of the TVF crowd has responded as if its so.

The same thing happens in the US. Police have to go through the process even when its a juvenile or accusations will be made they had a cover-up or were bribed to sweep it under the rug--and this TVF crowd would be the first to scream just that.

Keep clutching...So when a person admits a crime (theft) there isn't enough evidence? Plenty of examples of the police making "judicial" decisions...in this case they're just shit scared of the local dick in power.

The girls have, as far as I know, not been charged and will not be charged. Reuters has an agenda here, and is trying to make the military government look worse than they really are.

Focus.

Focus.

Focus on the subject.

This is more about face, fear and lemmingitis (people not wanting to be the ones that were seen to be doing nothing; that didn't buck the trend by continually taking it further) than it is about the illogical nature of the 'crime'... if you see what I mean.

In that case Reuters job is so easy, they probably don't need to get out of bed in the morning.

in the eyes of a sane world, this lot just can't see how rediculoius they are, i suppose they will be putting those monkeys on trial next, hope they got good cctv, so they can catch and charge catching these violating monkeys, and a police inspector gets the big boot for not reporting this, this guy is the only one there with a brain.

Oh dear.
They are 8 year old children which took the pink paper for play.
Wish the police would show the same engagement to the intoxicated high speed Ferrari and Mercedes death drivers.

I know they have rules in Thailand , however this is plainly two underage girls , called minors in some countries , who should not be charged under adult law , the main crux here is total human rights violation , all that means is even kids haven't any life under Prayut and Co , it really doesn't matter if they tear down political signs or Junta magic B/S what matters just who is free in Thailand , the answer is no one, just think how it will be in 5 years time under this present climate..........................coffee1.gif

Law, what Law??? There ain't and never was a LAW,..................... The rich and influential Thais ARE the law, and they can punish whoever they want, even embryos and unborn children..... get it??? This is Thailand

Anyone who had any of the slightest doubt on the Junta agenda should be ashamed to support them or their intimidating threatening tactics to keep the boot on the throat of their own people.

10 years for even discussing the referendum just shows how desperate they are to derail for as long as they can a democratic election and return the rightful parties as voted by the people back in power.

Amazing how the junta fan club are staying well away from this issue huh?

You lot should be ashamed of your selves for supporting these self appointed self entitled repressors...

I hope the world see's the junta for what it is, charging children with crimes when there was no intent , ill will or malice to damage the vote process.

Where the hell is Amnesty International and the UN regarding the rights of the child????

how about the monkeys???

They were sent from Dubai and trained by the red shirts....arrest warrants have been issued for the monkeys....cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Well, it's a Reuters story, so that means that this will be picked up internationally and will serve to only make Thailand a bigger laughing stock than they already are, plus bringing shame and ridicule on the country and the infamous RTP.

So well done one and all. You have done yourselves proud.

TVF posters never learn...they still tske every word of a news article verbatim.

Never stopping to consider that the facts are often "lost in translation".

Please stop trying to defend these morons.

.....while others get away with murder.....???

....in this case they have a valid excuse...nobody put them up to it...they liked the color....

...jeez.....

Complete <deleted> lunacy from a mob that seems bereft of common sense.

Yup and yet they cannot charge a person who kills a Policeman but they can charge two 8 year old kids! A great example of getting your priorities wrong and a total waste of public monies.

The RTP has certainly lost "face" with the rest of the world over this idiocy. Time for the P.M. to order some "attitude adjustment" for those whose job it is to enforce the law - not for trivialities but for real crime and corruption.

Some as* needs to be kicked! coffee1.gif

But will it happen? Don't hold your breath unless you are planning an early departure from this life!

Calm down, a government spokesman will pop up soon to explain that they both understand the special situation in Thailand...

Same thing happened in Pichet.....monkeys have so far have been rather allusive. They have been urged to turn themselves in.

The monkeys concerned are probably at the local grog shop after being paid off by the local PT/TRT/CFD organizer.

this is shameful and rediculous if true

although not knowing the full story, if an adult encouraged them to do this then the adult should be held responsible....just speculating

People on this forum seem to be rather stubborn and uninformed. The reality is: The two children have not been charged and they have not been arrested. The Reuters article is just another attempt to discredit Thailand's military regime. I'm not saying this to defend those in power here, but lying is a serious offense, particularly when it's done by a major news agency. Unfortunately, that is not something new.

Thaksin gave the girls 50 baht each, but they shouldn't charge the children. Charge the parents!

Would you like more libel to go with your coffee, sir?

So why is the BIB commander in the area being quoted a saying they have ?

Where is your source of reality ?

Who has quoted the BiB commander?

My source is Peray Stephane (Stephff), the Nation cartoonist. He apparently considered making a cartoon about it, but found he should check the facts first, which he did. He wrote a long text about it on his FB page.

8 years old? those two must be frightened sick and it's a total indictment of Thai 'society'

killing a Policemen in a Ferrari? 'mai bpen rai'

8 years old and tearing down couple documents? ARREST them!!!

Probably think they will get 10B fine which Bank of Mummy Daddy will pay.

At 8 years old they should be too young to prosecute, it should be parents/guardians who should be held accountable for failing to keep them under control.
