Problem with my Iphone 6 and an Email

Featured Replies

I tried to send this Email a while ago. It;s been stuck like this in my outbox since then. I have tried everything like taking the account off the phone and re installing it. Yet it is still there. it is NOT on my laptop of Ipad.

Any ideas?

Open the mail in the outbox and hit send from there

I should have said, that doesn't work. When i tap, or swipe left or right on the message zero happens

video files are usually too large to email…you could try yousendit or dropbox.

Ok...that doesn't help with this problem though mate.

What happens if you do an extended continuous press (say 5 seconds) on the stuck email? Maybe a window will then open up allowing you to delete it.

Maybe this helps ?

1) Put the iPhone in Airplane mode

2) Open the Mail app

3) Go to the Outbox

4) Click Edit, click the circle next to the stuck message to select it

5) Click Delete

6) Take the iPhone out of Airplane mode

7) Return to the Mail app. :-)

Tried both.

Didn't work.

Thanks though gents.....

What about doing reset press and hold power and home button at same time till the apple logo appears then release.

D tak prob, not phone prob.Delete and re install,

What I understand the mail is stuck in the "standard" iPhone email app, and unfortunately you can't delete that app and re-install that one.

Edit: I think you mean delete the account in the email app and create it again ? That is absolutely worth a try.

To be fair, a Dtak man in the Truck fixed it, in about 3 mins. She has I phone 6+,we piddled about for hours. Mine is same phone but on TRUE-H, no probs.....Cant be any more helpful, sorry.thumbsup.gif

If you log into your email via a computer, the mail should be reflected in your drafts folder….why not try to log in via a laptop and delete it from there?

Good one, but 1 flaw. He already clicked send and thus it has (should have) already been moved from Draft -> Outbox, but again absolutely worth checking.
