I want to apply for a UK visa and the registration system does not seem to be working today.

The site has said "Your registration details were created successfully. You have been sent an email with instructions on how to complete the registration process." 

That was 2.5 hours ago at 5.30 pm and I have received no email.

Registered a second time using a different email and still no email received.

Anyone experiencing similar problems?

Received a reply from V&I that there was a problem with the system that has now been fixed.

 

"With regards to your query, we are aware that there was a technical issue
with Visa4UK. The technical issue with Visa4UK has now been resolved but
there is still a backlog of pending emails, so there still may be a slight
delay with automated emails being sent to applicants. These pending emails
should be cleared throughout the day. If you have received an email with
unlock codes that are now no longer valid if it has been longer than 24
hours since they were generated then applicants should request a new unlock
code using the Forgotten Password function."
