Can anyone recommend a place that sells wrought iron benches for the garden?

The one in the photo is not actually a wrought iron bench. The end pieces are cast, not wrought, and the slats look like painted wood, or maybe rectangular steel tubing. A real wrought iron bench would probably be very difficult to find---I have never seen one here. However, if you are looking for something like the photo, I recently bought a nice, all steel, black one from Global House, so I can recommend this place. Homepro also had them the last time I looked.

Yes, I bought one at Homepro, iron with lacquered wooden slates for, if I remember correctly, THB2,500.

yes forgive my laziness I just took it off the net - i think something like this would be as good as it gets here - cheers I'll try Global and Homepro but was hoping to find a little workshop that made them rather than more mass produced ones

Wrought Iron is something I have never seen, ever, for tables/ chairs/benches.

I saw a few shops at Ban Tawai selling all kinds of chairs, benches, tables made with sturdy looking metalwork and wood. Custom stuff and quite interesting designs. The welding was shocking but i liked a lot it. Can't remember the exact locations but just cruise around and you will see it. The OP's photo looks like a typical chinese made bench that are sold all over the world. The Ban Tawai stuff is worth a look imo.
