Crazy 'cat gent' arrested for killing nine cats he adopted

BANGKOK: -- A man that is quickly emerging as Bangkok's crazy “cat gentleman” was arrested yesterday for killing at least nine cats he adopted via Facebook from posts for animals that needed homes.

 

Despite an eyewitness saying that she had seen more than 20 cat corpses around his apartment building on Lat Phrao Road, Panuwat Singsahas, 26, confessed to killing only a total of nine cats in July. Only.

 

While he didn't remember which of the adopted cats he had killed, Panuwat said he killed the felines by either tying their necks with ropes, strangling them, smashing them or throwing them against the wall, according toWatchdog Thailand.

A person who beats cats to death is charmingly described here as a "gentleman or gentle man" .

 

What a completely ill - usage of  the English language. Put him among a crowd of people who like animals and give him a few gentle strokes.

What a sick bastard. May fate let him suffer a horrible slow death. 

Alleged cat killer faces nine counts of charge of killing nine cats

 

 

A motorcycle taxi driver has been arrested for allegedly killing several cats that he had asked from people who wanted to get rid of them or from cat shelters.

 

The suspect whose identity was not disclosed admitted to police that he had killed only nine cats out of fits of anger. He claimed that he was a cat lover and had regularly searched the internet to look for donated cats and then contacted the owners to receive the animals.

 

However, carcasses of dead cats were uncovered occasionally at the apartment where the suspect has been living, but no one became suspicious of foul play.

 

It was reported that there was a cat raiser who gave away a few kittens to this motorcycle taxi driver recently and, one day, tried to contact him through line application to ask about the wellbeing of the kittens but to no avail.

 

The curious cat raiser then searched the cat lover’s website and found out there were several other cat donors like her who could not get hold of the suspect after having given him their cats.

 

She then lodged a complaint to Wang Thong Land police to find out what had happened to all those donated cats. Then someone at the apartment tipped off the police who eventually went there to investigate. The truth was finally out – the cat lover was, in fact, cat killer.

 

Pol Maj-Gen Sanit Mahathavorn, the acting metropolitan police commissioner, said the suspect would face charge of cruelty against animals which is liable to two years imprisonment and a fine of 40,000 baht.

 

However in this case, he said the suspect would face nine counts of charge for nine cats that he admitted to have killed.

A sociopath like this needs to be locked away permanently. He would almost certainly progress to humans, if he hasn't done so already.

 

 

Yes, it's not rocket science to see where this was heading. 

Would not be surprised to read about him a few years from now. 

Unfortunately, cannot lock someone up for something they might probably do. 

Hope someone has the brains to get him some psychiatric care.

I've swatted millions of mosqitoes, a similar irritating pest to cats, and have not progessed to humans.

Do all those things to the cat killer.And to the nasty bastard who left the dog at the airport,because of the airline told him of their no animal flights.

i think about that poor dog every day,and if i didnt already have one,i would have gone to the airport and took him home.

I hope he has a slow and painful death. Scumbag.

He needs to be put in psychiatric institution,  not in a prison where he'll lie about all day annoying normal prisoners who've punched someone richer than them or taken yabas and failed a drugs test.  The fact that he used fits of rage as an explanation,  without explaining how and why these happened nine times is totally amazing,  as with his concurrent claim to like cats.
