i think before i have some macro i wrote to do this , but have forgotten, and am not sure what to 'google' for a better solution  thx

Password manager?  Something like "Lastpass"?

well i cut and paste PW from LP to the web input box, but apparently this is insecure as the PW says in my computers clipboard, unless i go and clear it each time after cutting and pasting

Last Pass is designed to fill in the password itself online - there is no cut and paste involved.
