are you for real,? some of the <deleted> posted on here beggars belief," VIDEO THE RAPE," so the girl says "hold on a minute while i video you raping me" thats a certain way to get killed , as least she is alive to relate her rape,

If you are addressing me then you have put words in my mouth ANd you need to calm down.

She could have gotten the guy to talk about it the next day.

She is a victim here and its a rotten shame but her life is not going to be any better by making this police report, is it? Or is there a chance the guy will make restitution to the family?

Personally, I think she could have turned the tables on the guy and screwed him over with a video.

There is still a complete possibility she has been knocked up.

Swanny,

I was suggesting the girl deal with the rapist so that the wife is not part of the picture.

I will be the very first to say I have not adjusted to this culture. One of the things that tees me off is that women here are abused & misused at every opportunity and there is no legal protection whatsoever for them.

I would like to see some payback.

My wife has a deadbeat ex-husband that traded her in for a younger model, took the vast majority of the assets including the house for his new young girlfriend and started family #2 and completely discarded family #1 including his biological kids.

Women get raped here all the time for no more reason that a guy was horny and there is something in this culture that says tossing off is not an option.

We all know how this can play out. The girl can be pregnant and the poor broke mother is going to be left to raise the child while the girl goes to "work" to pay the bills.

Correct me if  I a m wrong, but you are going to print saying that you married a Thai girl who had children and was abused by her Thai lover / husband , what ever. If so fair play to you but your wife has to  be mentally scarred  by her experience, and her children even more so.

but what I would like to question is, I wonder how many thousands, hundreds of thousands ++ of farang ,either living here or tourists are guilty of the same things you are blaming your wife's ex for ?

it is not a geographical one way street is it ?

PATTAYA: -- On August 28 Pattaya One reported that Pattaya Provincial Court was set to issue an arrest warrant for the charge of rape against a forty-year-old suspected Pattaya police officer.

The warrant no 294/2559 was approved and Pattaya One reporters followed up the case on Sunday afternoon.

They went to the suspect’s house in Thappraya Soi 15 no. 242/98 M. 10 Banglamung, only to find nobody there. The two-story house has been shut down and a standard issue police security shield, in front of the door, has been removed.

Reading the news article twice, I can find nothing relating to this guy having a wife or even a relationship..... However, what strikes me as a little strange is that this girl was introduced to this job by her Auntie, her mothers sister , !  !

Yes, so many time have I heard a "family friend" (most often an auntie) find me job here (in Pattaya).

Yes, the streets are paved with gold but it is not free...

What is a "police security shield"???

A grill over the door or a badge that protects the occupiers from shake-downs by the the local Mafia and police colleagues?

women in this country are a commodities. Lady kai was allowed to put in jail any girl who didnt want to sell their body.

I wonder how women are abused in this country with the full knowledge of the society!

What sort of mother would let her 17 year old daughter go and work alone in the house of a middle aged man?

Wake up smell the coffee, in third world countries such as Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar the answer Is  hundreds of thousands . And before you choke on your Ribena understand it was the mothers sister who recommended the job. There are non so blind who will not see. It's called economy and the need to put food on impoverished families tables.

Sadly, I can`t argue with that, needs must as they say. We never really know what goes on behind closed doors in these countries where there is no government help or support and lack of a decent education. I know that some families see their children as commodities and expect their children to support them instead of the other way around. And there are always going to be those who will exploit these situations as in the case of the OP.

This time the offender was reported, but I wonder how many similar cases go unreported and we never get to hear about whereas these youngsters are abused and have to suffer in silence?

Just look around Pattaya not only underage girls working in all sorts of establishments associated with what Pattaya is noted for, but it will not be hard to find a mother actually pimping her daughter(s).

Another rodent that needs a sort out. The great reform and transition talk is almost laughable. I love how Pattaya police are using the bomb stuff to use the excuse to stop bikes. Police never do serious jail. No reform will ever take place and this rodent will get off.

Simply solution to the Rape Problem on LOS, if girl is under age, Death Sentence. If woman is above age, life with no parole. After a few get the word it should at least slow down. The World does not need Rapist or Terrorist !!

I"m pretty sure the fellow is aware of the economic hardships and burdens of the family...his comment was questioning the character of the family who would send their daughter to live with someone who would probably assault her...I think the guy understands the situation, he just disapproves of it...

i never suggested it was a one way street.

I only state that Thai women get the short end in this society and the law has no safeguard for them.
