Mountain bike hire around CM ?

My partner and I are looking for some 'fairly cruisy' out of town MTB rides..., and are wanting to hire some 'reasonable' mountain bikes out near the reservoir and Chiang Mai Uni.
Can anyone suggest some MTB hire places out near those areas...., or even in and around CM itself ?

I have not been able to walk 100 meters in the City for the past 4 years without having to walk off the sidewalk to go around mountain bikes for rent.  

 

I think I will call the Tourist Police.

Try MONG bikes, on Chiang Moi Rd, about 1 km from the moat.  He has a variety of upgrade bikes for rent.

Not quite the answer you are looking for but there is a MTB tour company across from Wat Prasingh. If you walked out of Wat Prasingh turn to your right cross the road and about 50m away is the MTB place. Today they announced they are selling 10 of their fairly decent MTB's for 5500 baht each. They do this at least on a year. They may rent as well but but it might be worth buying one when you factor in what the rental costs are?
