SRIRACHA: -- A combined force of 200 zoo employees, police, soldiers and district officials continued the search of a Chinese tourist after she went missing yesterday afternoon while visiting the Sriracha Tiger Zoo with her tour group.

Mrs Gao Li Ping, 35, in black sunglasses and hat, was wearing white shirt and red shorts when she went missing yesterday afternoon.

The last place she was seen in the CCTV camera of the zoo was at the pond of the zoo.

The pond is used to store water for use during the hot season.

That is closed captioning for the lady is screwed.

See what happens when you stop the Chinese using their own tour guides      ...Thai tour guides are worse than Australian dive boat operators. :P

The tiger will be hungry again after 1/2 hour.

yum yum

I wish I had a tongue like that tiger.

Hopefully the lady got confused and followed the wrong tour leader and went back

to the hotel on another bus.

this is why tourists need trackable SIM cards, or better yet ankle bracelet monitors.

Well, all's well that ends well I guess.

I wonder how that all came about?

And, as usual, Thai media doesn't bother giving the whole story. Asking her is too much work I suppose.

All's well that ends well

Gau Li Ping, in orange and red, is escorted to Phyathai Sriracha Hospital on Tuesday in Chonburi province.

CHONBURI — A Chinese woman who reportedly vanished at a tiger zoo in Chonburi province was found Tuesday hiding in a farmer’s hut in a nearby rice field, police said.

Gau Li Ping (transcribed from Thai) separated herself from a tour group Sunday at the Si Racha Tiger Zoo and hid in the hut because she feared for her life if she returned to China, a local police chief said.

I wonder how many Chinese are in Thailand, right now ?

So the reports of a smiling tiger licking his lips are false :D

Wow! She looks like she fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down!

That's what I wonder. Thailand is an attractive place. I think the new wealth that Chinese have to travel abroad has to be making them see the world differently. It's a world of possibilities.  Some no doubt want to live under a different regime, or realize that China will limit their potential.
