Not Thai customs. And he must be indeed an idiot threatening a consul while being illegally in the country.... Rumor has it ... the guy was not exactly right in the head ... more harmless really. And sent threatening emails and such. His passport was probably expired and could not be renewed ... more complaints ... then the Thai police got a call and SEVEN of them went to pick him up.
