Is it possible to be denied boarding from France to Thailand if you don't have a return ticket

Yes - I had, but not from the same Airline.

I enter Thailand with visa and also with visa on demand ... I did online check in and at the baggage check in they check only the name.

 

It's just my experience - maybe I just had "luck" all the time that they don't check.

I had all the time all the needed documents (return ticket and visa) but it was never checked at the check in.
