BANGKOK, 26 September 2016 (NNT) - Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has instructed all units to continue to help flood victims across the country, as homes and farmland in many provinces remain inundated.

The premier told the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the National Council for Peace and Order and other relevant agencies to mobilize personnel and essential items to help people currently coping with floods.

General Prayut expressed satisfaction with their recent efforts. People in flood zones were reportedly cooperating with authorities and were pleased to receive their prompt assistance.

Meanwhile, Permanent Secretary for Interior Kritsada Boonrat ordered provincial governors, village heads and local administrative officials, especially of provinces near the lower Chao Phraya River, to be ready to assist people, as large amounts of water make their way from the North.

But why are there floods?  I thought Article 44 and this regime could control everything.  Floods, drought, traffic in Bangkok, problems in the South, etc.  Must be mismanagement or nepotism. Is it endemic?

Prayuth as "prime minister" is absolutely personally responsible for the failures and successes of this time. Keep a record and send your personal losses due to the floods to the government for compensation.

Actually, the current PM has immunity from all acts he performs in office. There is no such concept of personal responsibility in the current 'legal' environment.

I understood the irony in #3

Maybe this is just an aftereffect of the Yingluck government.

Add it to her bill

Got six messages from girl friends asking for money due to flooding in their homes.  Now I know where to send them.   Thanks PM !

The Boss:

"Oh No!  Have I got to do this once again?  OK OK"

"I am expressing concern and asking all of those agencies and the people who work for them to get out there and do the jobs they should be doing anyway and please be quick about it."

"Right then.  All sorted now"

I love how all public servants in Thailand need constant reminders to do their jobs.

His trying to display that that the public listen and trust him. More of his brain washing gestures. This puppets show is old news.

I see this picture. I see a failure to complete anything noticeable in 2 years.
