Hi all I make jewellery and other stuff and am seeking spent 50 , 30 and even 7.62 Cal cartridges.

Must be full brass and want quantities not individual cartridges. Anyone know where I can get some?

I'm not claiming I know the legal status of spent brass, but if it were me, I wouldn't draw unwelcome attention to myself by gathering up any dual use articles.  It's quite possible that it would be classified as ammunition for reloading.

 

Edit:  Upshot:  Get legal advice before you proceed.  And not the kind that comes from the interweb.  The freedom you save may be your own.

I know that in the past (way back when) the Thai military policed up the brass for salvage.  It is indeed worth good money.  But I would not doubt a bit that if you have an inside track with some military you could get some off the firing ranges (but not in large quantity unless you pay well).
