I apologize if this has been answered but I was not able to find a related thread.  There are many threads regarding overstaying on one passport and trying to leave on another.  That is not my problem.

My wife is a dual citizen, one is US and the other is not a Thai passport.  Her original home country passport is in her maiden name which is different than her married name in her US passport.  She hold a valid Non-Imm O visa in her US passport and entered Thailand with her US passport.  There are no problems regarding her status here in Thailand.

She is departing Thailand to visit her family in her home country and is required to enter her home country using her home country passport.  Because of needing to enter her home country using her maiden name passport her airline ticket is in her maiden/home country name.

Will there be a problem exiting Thailand presenting her US passport at Thai Immigration even though the name on her airline ticket does not match the name in her US passport?  She has no problem showing the exiting Immigration officer both passports to prove that the holder of the US passport and the holder of the airline ticket are actually the same person.

I personally can't see why Thai Immigration would care.  She entered legally and did not overstay.  I can't remember if the exiting Thai Immigration Officer even looks at the ticket/boarding pass or just the passport and departure card.

She should show her home country passport to the airline when checking in, and then show the US passport when passing through passport control.

The only problem I can see is with the boarding card. When she presents her US passport and boarding card to Thai passport control they will show two different names. I don't know what happens in that situation, but I suspect that if your wife shows her home country passport it shouldn't be a problem.
