cancel function for quotes?

Featured Replies

There used to be a cancel function for quotes, but that has gone. Now when I clicked on the wrong quote ( because the page keeps moving up and down ) I can't delete it, and even though clicking off that reply, when I click on quote again I get the original unwanted quote in the box as well, so end up with two unrelated quotes.

Can we have the cancel function back please?

Hope it helps.

A quote can be deleted as follows:

  • move (hover) the mouse over the quote (rectangle) -> a handle in the upper left becomes visible
  • click on the quote headline
  • press "Delete" key

(some variations might be possible)

Holding down the CTRL key and doing a right click reveals some extra options.

I haven't used them so far.

When I get quotes stuck in the reply field, I figured out that if click the text in the quote, then hit enter/return a few times, then curser will move outside and below the quote, then I just hit delete a few times and it deletes the quote, or if I keep going, deletes all the quotes.

Kinda hard to explain but thats whats been working for me when the site gets all laggy
