Regardless of the drugs many of these guys have to go because they are also in the country illegally and would simply start running other scams if you took away their current form of bread and butter. Their prime motive is to earn money and Thailand is just the place that enables to do this easily. You tell me the motive for a Nigerian to come here and over stay there visa and deal drugs? Yes they do know that many of the Africans in the area are into the drug trade but Lumpini police are complicit in the business. They supply a number of those dealers with the product they've confiscated in drug busts. That's why they've been operating with impunity for so long.
