Crossy
One of Wifey's young guinea fowl decided to take a short flight over the wall. Unfortunately it realized too late that we have a flood, guineas don't steer well at the best of times and it ended up sitting on some floating plants. A major rescue operation involving one boat and two mad idiots saved the beast and it is now recovering in the chook house with its siblings. Guineas don't swim well although it made a valiant attempt to avoid capture by doing a passable impression of a duck. Hopefully it will dry out OK without getting too cold. Strange
Lol hopefully it gets over the shock. Where are the pics of the rescue operation though? lol
tifino
Once it has dried out, it'll be like water off a duck's back

Crossy
I'll make sure that next time I have my GoPro submersible helmet cam operational before diving (ok dropping gingerly) into the flood enriched khlong :)
Crossy
The creature in question seems unaffected by it's foray into the world of ducks. All dried out and strutting around with the rest of the flock. I doubt it will remember not to fly over the wall again, guineas are not known for their intelligence
