anyone happen to know is this a direct flight or does it go to DM 1st , then back up to Udon ?

 

doesn't seem right it's 3.5 hours flying

I just did a test booking, yes, you get an hour and a half at DMK

sort of defeats the purpose, they show it as if it were direct.  sigh   thanks 

 

looks like same thing with Phitsanolok -> Udon  (3.5) hours , hmm maybe that is what  the  "connect" with the little airplanes  means ; not nonstop  55

 

guess there might not be much demand  for  intercity flights the 1 exception seems to be

There is a direct flight to Udon Thani from Pattaya

No direct flight Mae Sot to Udon Thani.

A little detour necessary :biggrin:

To my sources Nok Air is the only airline serving Mae Sot, all to DMK (Dash-8 Turboprop).

 

It reminds me of the late 90s or so when there was almost no connections between regional airports (except Chiang Mai and Phuket and a 6h wait from intl. flight to Khon Kaen :shock1:).
