Overseas news items

I like to watch a combination of news outlets for an overview of world events.

BBC has seriously dropped IMO but I still watch it.

Al Jazera, RT, Fox, CNN to name a few.

Online I read from the left & right.

One thing struck me today though is that a local story ran internationally but no sign of it locally.

I do also enjoy some of the spoof news sites such as waterford whispers & the daily mash.

Any thoughts?

Very true JT but I'm finding that those news sites just report & acknowledge the like of reuters & other news agencies, I've not seen anything poigniant written locally. 

Pound sterling has dropped through the floor across the whole planet recently but actually gained in value against the baht today although not by much.

I know the line is to but on rumour & sell on fact so that much to go on really
