Thailand hosts 21st ASEAN-EU ministerial meeting

  

BANGKOK, 11 October 2016 (NNT) - Thailand is hosting the 21st ASEAN-European Union ministerial meeting in bid to restore Free Trade Area agreements between the two blocs on 12-14 October. 

Witawat Sriwihok, deputy permanent secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that Thailand is hosting the 21st ASEAN-EU foreign ministerial meeting at Plaza Athenee hotel in Bangkok. 

Apart from the FTA issue, topics of the three-day talk will include the ASEAN Vision 2025, border security affairs, international connectivity and sustainable development in line with the United Nations resolutions and His Majesty the King's philosophy of sufficiency economy, he said.

Are there warning signs in the Kao San Road area etc telling tourists not to go to the toilet before heading out for a stroll as the BIB might need them to oblige, all in the name of security ?
