Travel Rising Prices, Broken Systems Dim Thailand’s Tourist Charm
It was the long empty beaches that attracted the tourists, the nice hotels and the kind and friendly people. The beaches are now dirty and crowded, the nice hotels are now 7000 baht plus a night, and the Thais are fed up with it all. That smile has gone. For me , the worse problem is the traffic jams , whether it be Phuket , Pattaya or Bangkok, and the filthy air that we are forced to breathe.- 1
