Photo: Darawan Naknakhon PHUKET: -- A 22-year-old Thai man was arrested for murder this morning (Oct 22) after admitting to police that he stabbed his friend to death at a rented home in Patong. He told police he did it because he was mad that his friend asked him for money he did not have. Maj Korapol Leangboonjinda from the Patong Police arrested Prangthawas Sithikarn, 22, from Udonthani at 3:44am today after he stabbed his friend to death at a rented home in Soi Sainam Yen 1 on Sainam Yen Rd in Patong. Police seized from Prangthawas an eight inch knife used in the murder. The arrest of Prangthawas came after Patong Police received a call to investigate a stabbing incident at the address around 3:44am. madusa Posted October 21, 2016 Share Posted October 21, 2016 If you look at the pool of blood you will see a figure of a tall thin man with one hand pointing at his own face. If you turn the pages of thai language newspaper you will see lots of gruesome murders and accidents, I believe these don't get into the english language thai newspaper so as not to give a bad image of Thailand. It's equally applicable for loans especially here where people do get worked up about money, where refusing to lend can cause anger and asking for a loan re-payment even more so.
