BANGKOK, 26 October 2016 (NNT) – The Ministry of Transport closed its Phadung Krung Kasem canal fair which was attended by over 65,000 people and generated a cash flow of over 22 million baht. 

Transport Ministry Permanent Secretary Chartchai Thipsunawee presided over the closing ceremony of the Phadung Krung Kasem canal fair hosted by the Ministry of Transport during 5 - 25 October 2016. 

The fair allowed over 100 booths to sell community products and delicacies from various provinces nationwide, along with services from the Ministry of Transport and exhibitions on transportation. 

The fair was attended by over 65,000 people and generated a cash flow of over 22 million baht at center stage. The Transport Ministry has also organized an auction for license plates with auspicious numbers which generated a revenue of over 80 million baht. 

The next rendition of the Phadung Krung Kasem canal fair will be hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of the Interior, under the theme "OTOP Wisdom to the World” from 3-27 November, featuring OTOP products, community products and various activities. 

The public can visit the fair every day from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. along Phadung Krung Kasem canal next to Government House.
