mrjohn Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 I have used 3BB at home for some years with very few problems. I can also use the 3BB Wi-Fi service on my phone outside the home but the signal tends to be very weak or not available at all. Many of the places I visit my phone shows no signal for 3BB Wi-Fi but does have a signal for True. The wife’s family uses True at home and whenever they outside they seem to have very good speeds on their phones. So my question is; Is the nationwide Wi-Fi coverage much better on True or not? Is it worth my while changing my domestic ISP so that I can use True when out and about?
ignis Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Maybe where you are or where you go... try to find out if you go to the same area a lot what people are using.. Myself only option when I came here was True for home, others are now in my area, but have no problem with True and 13 years on still use True Internet.. [True Fiber arriving to Village next month] As for mobile, used AIS, but changed to Hutch which was very good, sadly True bought them out and was automatically put on True, thankfully the contract was only 6 months, signal was very bad in so many areas I go to... Returned to AIS some years ago now
