So just to be clear, does that mean you're in or you're out?

Surely to be in youd need to have posted for a year.

Surely an open admission of ''stalking'' which is contrary to this forum and many others too should result in the stalker being  removed from the forum.

By allowing the''stalker '' to stay the member and the  forum  owners are exposing them selves to the prospect of a very unpleasant litigation process which could result in large sums of money in damage costs being made against them  as well as a possible loss of freedom.

Looks like we have a barrister in our midst!

I'm not aware of such a rule.  Nor of any other rules.

In fact, being fresh meat could be an advantage.  You haven't pissed off that many people.

Yet.

Re the stalking, I am sure the major candidates will come out and say something about this, I know Nancy feels very strongly about human and civil rights, and besides, she won't put up with anyone stalking Mr. Bitey, mind you, with a name like that, I'm sure he'll be safe from the clutches of those who wish to do him ill.

Transam doesn't worry about stalkers, he has 3 big dogs to scare unwanted people away.  I guess being stalked is a bit of a compliment, I mean if someone takes the trouble to hunt you down, watch your movements, and then kidnap and dismember you, he or she must have liked you.

No, it clearly says he's a shunter.

Perhaps the publishing of the contents of the P Ms received by the victims  of Fabricus who claims that he was merely trying to protect the innocent  would  certainly be an interesting move.Such a move may well go some way to actually establishing either the guilt of Fabricus or the innocence of Fabricus.

There was in fact a case in the Pattaya court at the beginning of this year concerning a forum owner who received a fine and a prison term and a ban on being ever involved in any forum operation in Thailand for  posting comments and images that were  very far from the truth.

Now that  being the case  shall we say if Fabricus has entertained ''romantic notions'' he or she would be in very serious danger of both imprisonment and a hefty fine. The same applies to the forum as they according to their rules  agreed to upon registering here all material posted becomes their copyright as does ones email address and other material.

However if those P Ms showed they were sent in good faith Fabricus would indeed be exonerated of any blame as would this forum if it was proved the information was not mined from  the forums contents of which the forum hold the copyrights to as stated in their terms of membership

I remember when POTY threads were a light-hearted bit of fun.

Now that was funny!

But please don't blame me for the OCD-suffering paranoiacs on TV. Unfortunately Thailand has a reputation for attracting this rubbish.

And now -- let me be the first to nominate SoiBiker. This is serious, btw. I think you're one of the best writers on TV, and most of your contributions are solid.

But beware of the wifers.

PS. If you're interested in writing (and you ought to be), here's a link to Wikipedia's Featured Article process:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Featured_article_candidates

At 2.6 on the list (as of today) is an article about the Seri Rambai cannon in Penang. I wrote it. You could take a look and comment, if you want.

Wow!

I've stalked you and your GF, have I? Tell me, in what manner did I stalk your GF? Did I send her messages on FB, or did I turn up on her doorstep at 6am?  Why do you keep lying?

As for the former TV member you refer to, I can't comment as the matter is now in the hands of the Don Muang police.

Of course it is.

Its nice to have dreams.

Yep. Let's leave it that.

You could have done things so differently. I met my son's mother at the Londoner on 1 February 2000. She'd just come back from a cruise ship in southeast Asia . We got engaged after three months; after that she flew off to Alaska to work on another cruise ship. Two weeks later I responded to an ad in the BKK Post for a finance-related job in Thonglor. It was there (in Soi 55) that I came across the wettest and most insipid little runt I've ever met. I emailed my son's mother to discuss this. She still has the original correspondence.

If you weren't such a poor judge of character (or if you weren't so desperate for friends) you could have had access to these emails and much, much more.

Never mind. You can scurry off now and start a thread about me.

Really, who <deleted> cares ?

Well it beats reading the teaching forums dunnit.

Fair to say given the quality of my friends in Bangkok I am happily getting it very right indeed.

I couldn't be happier...and I'm not telling anyone about some fictional police reporting in some subdistrict near the old airport.

No doubt we shall see you posting the same old drivel in a year's time still claiming the police are "investigating"

Huge yawn for your Wormtongue like responses.

RE: The quality of your friends.

That's funny. You fly half way around the world because you have no friends or a social life (in addition to being unattractive to women), and now you have "quality friends".

So what next? Will the next thread you start on your crappy forum be about me or your "quality friends"?

SMOKIE: you're a bright boy; you're not Oxbridge, but you're not stupid. Seriously, what sort of tool talks about the "quality of his friends"? Do you really not see what you're doing?

----------------------------------------------

Anyway, that's all for now -- I'm off to take a quality dump.

I vote fabricus .

Isn't it a bit early to vote for poster of the year ?

You would really vote for someone who might send emails to your workplace wrongfully accusing you of misdemeaners and trying to get you sacked from your job and leaving you without a WP or a way of feeding your family?

I think maybe you missed that part.

Fabricus is a troll, a menace and a drain on this forum and always has been.

Edit: not to mention he has been multiply banned here.....he doesn't like to discuss that though...oh no.

Edited by smokie36

Er, as nominated commentator for this thread, can we just drop all these personal things (or have them go via PM) as we are all here just for the banter.

Thank you

Or we could start a new thread entitled "The living dimensions of Fabricus"

Boring.

I'm intrigued. I didn't follow the previous competitions because I found them so narcissistic. However, the claimed besmirching of one of the candidates has piqued my interest. TV and Machiavellian shenanigans, who'd have thought?

What's in a name anyway.

I doubt he would want it known.

David48 and Costas both went down the memory-hole together shortly after the competition ended.

Any coincidence there?

Don't see what the point of a competition is,   is it just for egotistical on ere.
