FB buffering and delay

Anthony5

Recommended Posts

Using the latest Firefox, FB as only site has become a pita.

Scrolling doesn't work fluent, typing a post goes with delays, even deleting words is with a delay.

I tried flash block already as I thought it was because too many video's on the pages, but it doesn'y make a difference.

FB is the only site I experience these issues, so what is the work around?

No idea what lastpass is so I'll probably don't use it.

Where do I check if hardware acceleration is enabled, and if so wouldn't that influence other sites as well?

I don't know, but I have seen posts where people have complained about Facebook and Firefox and that seems to be the recommended workaround.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

Then restart.
