Thailand and Australia hold joint military training

  

CHONBURI, 4 November 2016 (NNT) -The Thai and Australian armies have begun a joint military training exercise in Chonburi. 

The opening ceremony took place at the 21st Infantry Regiment in Chonburi. Commander of the 2nd Infantry Division, Major General Charoenchai Hinthao and Australian Ambassador to Thailand HE Paul Robilliard, co-chaired the event. 

The training entitled Chapel Gold 2016 consists of urban combat, a live firing exercise, forest survival and day and night offensive operations. The activity is aimed at forging ties between Thailand and Australia and strengthening the military abilities of their armies. 

The joint exercise started on 3rd November and will continue until 14th November at Navamintra Rajinee Camp. The Australian Ambassador also signed a book of condolences on the passing of His Majesty the King.

Yes BB, makes no sense to me either. When Fiji had a coup OZ cut off nearly all contact and assistance.

Where do you think all the Toyota, Ford and Mitsubishi pick ups come from and its not Japan anymore

Fiji had not much to offer except a tourist location

Maybe Thailand is getting so tips ready for when they start joint military exercises with the Philippines......

The Chinese weapons are on back order already....
