People wait in long lines outside the Grand Palace at Sanam Lung for their turn to pay respects to late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej Saturday.

 

BANGKOK:-- Sick people have been advised to stay away from the royal funeral until well – for their benefit and potentially to prevent diseases being spread.

 

The advisory from city officials came as the Peace and Order Maintaining Command assured the public that police would have no problem managing the crowds at mourning epicentre Sanam Luang and nearby Thammasat University, scene of commencement ceremonies this weekend.
