Directions to Bang Na Expressway

Featured Replies

If I'm coming from the east on the route 7 expressway, what would be the exit for driving the shortest distance to the Bang Na road? On a Google map, It looks there are two exits (not including the Suvarnabhumi road), one looks real short.  Thanks.

You dont say where you are starting from or where you want to end up but when I go from Pattaya to Bang-Na I generally drive through Chonburi.

It does all rather depend on the time of day though.

Depends on where you are going.  But if a bit past the airport, look at the map in the link above.  Find the river.  Don't take the first exit, but the second one.  Very short road to the elevated expressway.

I recently drove by taxi from Don Mueang to Pattaya (other direction).

He took the route as shown in the map.

Road #361, kind of "Chonburi bypass".

Yes, that's the one I meant by "driving through Chonburi". It looks like a ring road on the map but really it's all quite built up. Certainly fairly wide and fast though, at least at the hours I've ever been on it. I do like the elevated express-way: you get a nice view from up there and the traffic is often quite light.
