Deez
I am not a big fan of this Govt, but if they have the stones to reform the police from top to bottom, they will be remembered as the most efficient government Thailand has ever had.. They rushed the beating and it went horribly wrong. They should have covered him in phone books and then did the dirty deed. As in this article there will be much hue and cry and then dead silence. The family did right by going to the police station and drawing media attention the this horrendous crime but but but............

jaltsc
“…assured them that the seven officers had been charged and would be prosecuted in accordance with the law. “ "Let's see. Which laws will we use to prosecute them today?" The law here is like Groucho Marx' principles: “Those are my principles (our laws), and if you don't like them... well, I (we) have others.” Edited November 22, 2016 by jaltsc
Retiredandhappyhere
"Despite evidence of abuse on Don’s body, Kritsana said it’s still too early to pinpoint whether police actions were to blame for the suspect’s death." “Forensic science examination results are considered evidence, but ultimately it is up to the investigators to conclude,” Kritsana said Monday. “Evidence comes in many parts and many forms.” What the hell does this c..p mean? Sounds to me like some kind of get out clause.
