November 23, 20169 yr If she asks you for some money for her family , You give it and when you turn up at her home village and they put on a feed and tie some string around your wrist you are consider married if you know about it or not, believe it or not, no monk required it seems

If she has never been 'legally married' her ID card will have her maiden name on it. When you register your marriage at the Amphur Office her ID card chip is read.
