Featured Replies

this is a token amount of money , they are just as scared as the rest of the political elite everywhere that the thai citizens realize they have more power than they believe and get rid of the current government just like everyone in the rest of the world is realizing. things need to change because it is not working, trump will make all of Asians economies implode

  with any type of protectionism.

Billion, Million? How about competence? If you need a copy editor, I will be happy to apply.

Interesting to see all arguments of pro-junta posters collapsing one after the others: anti-nepotism, anti-cryonism, anti-corruption, anti-amnesty, anti-populist.....

:)

Only the "but, but Thaksin..." argument is left

The so-called "but, but Thaksin" argument is a pretty strong one, if you actually remember what he was like.

It would be better to have an ongoing scheme with 4 or 5 payments a year based on farm income.  Then in a bad year, like for my wife last year,  the maximum benefit could be paid when people are the most needy.  A one off payment at the governments pleasure while helpful isn't really a solution.

But rather weak if one considers the actual relevance to the current government striving to revitalise the Thai economy in order to improve the outlook for the Thai people. Trading insults about previous performance does nothing to enhance the current situation.

Maybe it's just the PTP showing how hypocritical the present bunch are

Or maybe not. PTP's brilliant self financing scheme that wasn't excluded the poorest farmers from benefiting.

It was only ever intended to benefit the chosen ones and provide a vehicle for all sorts of creative scams for the clan.

I just wonder when it will end, I suppose we will have to see what her reply to this scheme is going to be.:intheclub:
