Looking for small non government schools in Bangkok

Featured Replies

I have heard anyone can get a job with no problem but every time I apply they ask for a degree.

I am a British native English speaker and looking for a job.  But I don't have a TEFL.

I just want to start working.

Does anyone know of any small non government schools or organizations that take on staff without asking any questions?

I had one offer but they were too far away.

I have heard TEFL is a scam and the people are so evasive I have chosen to avoid it.

I have my marriage visa so no problem.

Well, most schools are going to ask questions, whether you are fully qualified or not.

You do not need a TEFL to teach, although a TEFL does help with giving some helpful knowledge, and ideas of how to teach in the classroom.

In order to fully legal for most schools, you will have to have a degree.   Schools can't get you a teacher's license and thus a work permit unless you have a degree.

Your only viable option is to work at a private language center. You will be able to get a work permit but you can get paid.
