webfact Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 flydubai launches new Dubai-Bangkok route BANGKOK, 30th November 2016 (NNT) - The low-cost carrier from United Arab Emirates “flydubai” has announced the start of direct flights between Dubai and Bangkok, the airline’s first route outside the Middle Eastern. CEO of flydubai Ghaith Al Ghaith said the new route will serve to open a channel between the two countries for business and tourism, as well as connect those flying from Thailand to Russia and Europe. The carrier is also considering a route to Phuket. Meanwhile, Deputy Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Tanes Petsuwan said the new route will enhance cultural ties between the two countries and serve as a connection point for business and trade between the two regions. The new service will operate twice per day, and be priced at 17,892 baht for business class and 5,982 baht for economy class. Reservations are available starting December 20. -- nnt 2016-11-30
