slapout
Too bad the bib do not spend the same effort to get the monk who laundered all the funds, had sex with chilren, bought a nice jet plane , etc. sent back from the usa. He is in plain sight on the west coast, but no one in Thailand seems to want him here to press charges or give statements .

Jonathan Fairfield
Florida man taken into custody in Bangkok for 2013 Phuket kidnapping charge Darawan Naknakhon PHUKET: A Florida man was taken into custody upon his arrival in Bangkok today (Dec 2) after being extradited from the US on charges issued in Phuket back in 2014 for the kidnapping of a fellow American in 2013. In February 2015, Shawn Abraham Shaw, 43, was fighting extradition to Thailand on kidnapping and extortion charges brought by another American said to have strong ties to senior Thai officials. Shaw, 43, denied the charges, saying the alleged victim laid a complaint with Thai authorities after the pair had a falling-out in Phuket over a business deal. Then one month later, in March 2015, Shaw maintained his innocence of the charges brought against him by Thai authorities. His defence lawyer says the charges were laid after a business deal went sour. Mickmouse1
Nothing was mentioned about the US Authority conducting its own investigation before approving the extradition unless a swap deal was done!!?

Stargeezr
Just hope this guy spends some time in a Thai prison and gets to enjoy some quality rice meals until he is totally a Thin Tim. Maybe USA has a new Thai guy who was also sent to that country as a swap so they can also give him some USA justice, who knows? Geezer

Says it all if you can believe the press, but as we've seen, they get it so wrong, so often, yet still get paid every month. Unfortunately, we're all similar in that we believe the press when it fits with our preconceived ideas.
