I'm going over tomorrow for the same

what mode of transportation did you use to cross no man's land and back?

can you break down your costs?

do you know if it is cheaper to use  usd  than the baht like it is at nong kai crossing?

thanks

Also where, when and to whom to pay the 960 Baht.

It is 450 baht for the transport across no mans land, 500 baht for the Myanmar border pass and 10 baht for a copy of your passport.

You pay the 960 baht at the travel agency just after you clear Thai immigration.

Tks.

When I went recently I only gave the agency 10 bht for the passport copy. When we reached Burmese Immigration I gave the minibus driver 950 bht, 500 bht for Burmese stamp, 450 bht for transport. Stayed in the van the whole time.

I paid 1,000 baht to the truck driver, even though I knew it should have been 950. I enjoyed the banter with him, but if you don't want to pay the extra, just give him the 950. It is a painless process
