If you think that is amazing, I actually witnessed police manning traffic today.

Clearly the world has underestimated the BIB

who cares - it rounded up a couple of young thugs and anyway-  cross dressing in LOS could never be considered bait.

I wish they used more bait like purses that blew red die and mace in your face when you open them or many other devious things I'd like to do to criminals.

"Underling"

Couldn't they use a nicer word? Haha

My thoughts exactly. There is so much condescension in that way of saying things. Maybe just a translation mistake ? No matter what, it sure says a lot about how Thai culture envisages the relationship between boss and staff ... Sooooo Asian.

Is that legal?:whistling:

I bet they had no problems finding a volunteer for this job.   Some may even have had the costume at home.

ordered his underling Wiwek Kamonwiboon to dress as a woman

Thankfully she  wasn't sexually assaulted.

as Wiwek looks like ... It is not a big miracle 5555

ALL FOR WHAT..... THEY WILL BE OUT AGAIN...

What a decidedly UNATTRACTIVE Underling. He/she would go broke standing on a corner looking for "work."

For once I will drop my normally cynical view of the BiB and say this is an excellent bit of police work worthy of praise not ridicule.

I can only hope it marks the start of more dedicated and intelligent crime stopping in Thailand (I can hear the laughter).

There is a long way to go yet of course.... but it should give us all hope for the future, just don't hold your breath.

I think you are talking about "entrapment", which is different. Google it for a definition.

This is a simple case of using a stooge and letting the criminals attempt a crime they are already suspected of committing before.

Sounds like a plan out of Scotland Yards playbook! They are rumored to have tried dressing up in womens clothes to try and catch Jack the Ripper!

There is a song from the Musical Jack the Ripper, you may enjoy it. ( I could only find a soundtrack recording)

Could they find a more ugly guy to pose as a woman  :whistling:

I've seen a lot more ugly ladyboys than him.

It doesn't matter, they caught them.

Would you rather they used a police woman?

Although no reason why they shouldn't have.

We are equal now: all the gender and sexual orientation types.

:shock1:

Wonder why hers  his hands are blurred out on the picture?

He was excited to be wearing the dress again, and tried to cover the fact with his hands. Pixellation was later added for good measure.

"Police turn female impersonators as knife snatch team nabbed" is not correct english
It should say
Police turned female impersonator as knife snatch team

I think it's right. Turn is used in a similar sense as "become".

Absolutely hilarious.  Don't they have any female police officers?   Please stop laughing at us as you are destroying our reputation.

Should armed robbers get life without parole or execution?

Found a wig and dress, just happened to have in his wardrobe!!! A case of playing out their fantasies more like it.

Good job.

One day they may have real women police officers!

But this is funnier, like something from a Carry On movie. Oooer missus.

OMG! Haven't seen Blakey's face for bloomin' years!

I wonder if Officer Pornsak will include this foto on the 'career highlights' page of his CV?

Underling? Is that a police official title?

I think maybe you're right, it fits in with the other two of  meddling and piddling. :wai:

That's what makes this hilarious. Some of Thailand's trannies really are rather ugly. Yes, I know, that's a cruel comment, but sorry, sometimes a 50 year old guy with a 5 o'clock shadow should accept that he can never be a hottie.
