is  foreign bank account proof of income? I withdraw money here with an ATM card

Topic is about applying for a non-o visa at an embassy or consulate not an extension of stay based upon marriage.

For an extension the money must be in a Thai bank for 2 months or proof of 40k baht income proven by a letter from your embassy.

In Penang you will need to show a bank book showing 400k baht. The will accept pay slips and etc for income proof.

You apply the morning of one day and pick up the next afternoon.

Most people use an agent in Penang.

The OP is asking about a multiple entry non-o visa. You only got a single entry visa. The fee for a multiple entry visa is $200.

Jims Place has been recommended by many people. http://jimsplacepenang.tripod.com/

I think they will give you a receipt for the fee an passport.

The visa fee will be 750 RM (went up last year). Apply the moring of one day and pickup the next afternoon.

Marriage certificate plus a copy, signed copies of her house book registry and ID card. A simple letter requesting they issue the visa for you.

No financial proof is needed.
