Except Trump was lying though his teeth, which he does every day.  The tramp sitting on the sidewalk probably hadn't been able to bathe for 20 days, or eat more than a meager meal every two days.  Trump has never missed a meal in his life.  When he was getting in trouble for ripping off investors, banks and contractors, the banks made him promise to limit his spending to $220,000 a month.  That's was the lowest Trump got. So  he's a flat-out lying s.o.b. to say he was ever poorer than that tramp on the sidewalk.   I have never lied to my daughter.  That's just one of 100 reasons why I'm a better person than Trump.

I have no use for Donald Trump at all. None. He's a chronic and unremittnig liar and by all indications he's getting ready to screw the people who voted him in. That said, his remark about the homeless guy was clearly directed at himself. He was just making a point in a vivid  and memorable way.

“I remember once, my father and I were walking down 5th Avenue, and there was a homeless person sitting right outside of Trump Tower...And I remember my father pointing to him and saying ‘That guy has $8 billion more than me.’ Because he was in such extreme debt at that point..

I wonder how long it took The Donald to call Trump Security to have the homeless person removed from the premises

Au contraire. Trump probably paid the homeless man $20 to go camp out in the hallway of one of Trump's complexes.  Trump used to do that in order to compel long-time (rent-control) residents to move out, so he could triple the rents for new tenants.

Re; Trump voters being unabashedly stupid, here is a video which articulates that. . . . . . . .

Let's be fair. There are some things Trump does that Clinton would never do. Like this New Year's Eve tweet for instance:

Happy New Year to all, including to my many enemies and those who have fought me and lost so badly they just don't know what to do. Love!

He gives a whole new meaning to "magnanimity."

Well you may have a point.  As you can see, my link doesn't point to the most trustworthy source of news:

^ Trump's twitter is full of things that you would never expect a responsible adult (much less the next POTUS) to say.  Just check it out, it's a goldmine of petty vindictiveness and his Putin bromance:

What's scary is this comes from a grown man, who is now the president of the US.  Unreal.

" 'I am not controlled by my donors, special interests or lobbyists.' (FB september 2015) one of  D. Trump's most effective marketing messages: that he’s beholden to no one and can’t be bought because he’s a rich man who’s self-funding his campaign.   Donors representing 38% of the top positions in the next government. Six major donors are among the ranks of the future presidential cabinet, a figure "far superior to those of the recent administrations".

Trump rewards big donors with jobs and access

Contributors who met with Trump gave about $59 million in support of his campaign and other Republicans, averaging more than $800,000 per donor.

The heiress quietly shaping Trump’s operation

"Major GOP donor Rebekah Mercer has funded many of the groups and figures helping to assemble Trump's team, and now she's formally part of it. Some of the biggest names on the right are jockeying for power in President-elect Donald Trump’s nascent operation, but one of the lowest-profile figures is arguably among those wielding the most clout — a press-shy hedge fund heiress who co-owns a boutique cookie bakery."

This just coming in regarding his new investments in Indonesia.  Maybe one day, his supporters will figure this out.  He's really pulled the wool over their eyes.

I really feel pain and angst for the conspiracy theorists who have always thought that the world was being taken over and run by the Rothchilds; the Illuminati and the New World Order.

Guys like Trump and Duterte must have their heads spinning.

The world is going to be a mass of Chaos.   I suspect the magnetic fields will switch any day now and gravity will quite working.

Indeed, "Pay to Play" is alive and well under the con-man POTUS-elect. For $500, one could rub shoulders with the POTUS-elect during the Mar-a-Lago New's Year Eve party.

Well, let's not be unfair to Trump. Here's another thing he did that Hillary would never do. It seems some writer who, many years ago, did a biography of Trump that Trump didn't like, turned up at Trump's golf course. Trump kicked him out.

At points throughout his address, Trump name-checked prominent attendees, including "Hussain and the whole family," an apparent reference to his billionaire business partner in Dubai, Hussain Sajwani.

DAMAC Properties, Sajwani's company, has built the Trump International Course Dubai. They are currently working on a second course, designed by Tiger Woods, which is set to open in 2018.

"Hussain and the whole family, the most beautiful people, are here from Dubai tonight. And they're seeing it and they're loving it," Trump said, referring to the ornate Grand Ballroom that he built at Mar-a-Lago.

So I guess that Trump intends that when he "Bans all Muslims from entering the USA until we know whats going on", he only means 'some Muslims', like not the rich Muslims who he is friends with. Does that make the Trump supporters sick who were screaming to ban muslims at the rally's - you betcha. Its the Bush family all over again, Bush with Bin Laden and Oil and Trump with Sajwani and Property. With so many people with guns in the US It is difficult to see how the man will survive a term in Presidency. He does not need a Presidential security team, he needs Black Water.
