webfact
World’s ‘highest’ bridge opens to traffic in China XUANWEI: -- Towering over 500m above a gorge in southwestern China, what has been dubbed by Chinese state media as the “world’s highest bridge” has opened to traffic. The Beipanjiang bridge, which took three years to complete, spans over a kilometre between Xuanwei city and Shuicheng county in the country’s southwest. It soars 565m into the sky and cost over 130 million euros to construct. The bridge is said to shorten the journey between the two places by over three hours. -- © Copyright Euronews 2016-12-

puck2
Congratulation to China for this bridge, finished within 3 years. Some TV-members feel compelled to give this useful bridge/construction an adverse purpose. Edited December 30, 2016 by puck2
d123
puck2 you're right, congratulations for completing this project in 3 years. Puts the 3year plus trying to complete the Samkong underpass (Phuket) into perspective. Oh and congratulations to the Samkong underpass contractor for nearly completing your project
