Ethiopian Restaurants

Featured Replies

Every couple of months I get a craving for Ethiopian food.

As far as I know there are now two Ethiopian restaurants in town.  Habeesha and the eponymous Ethiopean Restaurant down Soi Africa.   I always order yetsom beyanetu (like a vegetarian sampler) and both do it pretty well.

Habeesha has a vibe I'm unfamiliar with and I can't wrap my head around what a fire trap it is.  The elevator opens to the small space and there seems to be no other marked exit.  I'm sure there must be stairs somewhere, but a Fire Exit sign might not be such a bad idea.  Still, after all, it satisfies my craving.

The Ethiopean Restaurant down Soi Africa is good too, but sometimes they don't have injera or don't feel like cooking or something.  It's much cleaner and is more of a restaurant then Habeesha.

But every once in  a while I like to check if anyone knows any new Ethiopian restaurants?
