I got it done in the UK when I was 23, I paid around £400 British pounds, its a quick procedure, they bandage your penis and you go back home, no masturbation for a couple of weeks, I think after .2 weeks you take the bandage off yourself, then the stitches will dissolve or fall out over the next week, then if you have no complications or problems that should be it, take things slow, don't be too rough with it

I got it done privately, didn't receive any aftercare but I didn't need it I guess..

There are multiple techniques  employed in SE Asia. Stay away from the trendy formats like "laser" and stick to the tried and true general  clamp format as it takes less than 90 seconds and complications are rare. Bear in mind that not all circumcision surgery is the same. (Bet most people don't know that.) SE Muslims favour a clean shear with all traces of the foreskin removed.  The Jewish, South Pacific and some African tribes  approach is to leave the frenulum attached. You need to discuss the method with your physician, because if you expect the frenulum to remain, you need to make sure it is stated. If you are experiencing retraction issues now, it may need to be cut, but that's to be discussed with your physician.

Because, there is a significant  population of muslims in Thailand, the procedure is known and  available. The problem is that the expertise is skewed towards young males and newborns and not older males who require it for  specific reasons. Again, the need to use an experienced urologist or general surgeon. My personal experience is that there is a bias against circumcision in Thailand that is driven more  by the perception that it is a  "muslim" thing rather  than by a medical basis. It's as if the African clinical trial data  and subsequent follow up evidence  does not exist in the eyes of many Thai public health specialists.

I can't impress upon you enough the importance of discussing the methodology to be used with the  person who will perform the procedure. Don't be bothered by the wackos who will claim you will  have debilitating pain and not recover for months.  Consider the new method of glue instead of sutures, or a combination of the two. The small number of sutures in the penis if required, are no different than any other location, and will heal based upon how well you normally heal and  on your ability to follow care instructions. Basically, 2 days of some swelling and discomfort and a return to regular physical activity  30 days later.

This is an issue that provokes some strong emotions, particularly from many  caucasian Europeans. One of my favourite professors was instrumental in the HIV clinical trials and was subject to death threats and other craziness. His Australian colleague was harassed for years. Brace yourself for some idiotic opinions.

I have to smile when I read some of this

So not happy with what you've got, oh dear !

And thats ok, also not my business

In any case; maybe have castration at the same time, I am  u n r e l i a b l y  informed the two brick method may work well, also very cost effective!

O u c h !  !!   !!!  could be a little painful, and not for me or the weak hearted, but being TV it might be appropriate for some

Apologies for my bad humor but  sometimes necessary to stay positive and keep smiling

Smiling a lovely Thai way does help

Adult men rarely get circumsized because they are "unhappy with what they've got". Rather it is usually a medical necessity, there are conditions in which the foreskin no longer retracts readily.

Little painful? Well that depends on how you hold the bricks. Just be careful that your thumbs aren't getting in the way...

It seems that in the USA about 60% of males got circumcised, I very much doubt most of them were for a medical necessity and I am very happy to still have all of my foreskin.

Circumcision is a thing of the past in most western countries. Unless you have a medical problem that is.

Of course jews and muslims have their own rituals about this due to religion , but the rest of us are happy to keep the foreskin . Your sex life is better with the foreskin , just do some research online.
