How a normal user can see where a member is located?

Can not.

But the members being puzzled are moderators (like me) and CAN see the IP address as is usual in forums.

And the IP address of the thread starter is shown by publicly available tools to be about 8000 miles from Connecticut.

  • There is always a slim risk of it getting lost. If you send it by courier or express mail the risk is small as instructed by the embassy or consulate you are sending it to.

What next your going to say black folk not welcome in Thai-land? I am a million miles from everywhere, I admitted to that. What is the problem, my friend?

I aint no criminal. I dont like being identified like this ( I am sorry I quoted you, my good man, but I am making a point here.), I feel kinda a insulted brother ;-(  What nest can I expect you to tell the world about me? That I am not American, that my folks came from South Africa? I know I hope I wish man you are not being racist but I am a churchgoing divorced father of four children. I never lied in my life. Do I have to go on this fashion? Peace.

Can not.

Don't expect it to be too exact (fortunately [emoji2]).

Thank you. I know this website. What is me still confusing, the first member who mentioned that the op might use a VPN isn't a moderator.

#17 user crossy. Now I'm in Tapatalk and the user have the same symbol above his username as ubonjoe. So maybe he is a moderator as well. But I'm pretty sure on the desktop version was no mark that he is a moderator.

Crossy is an experienced Global Moderator and tech savvy.

I can not comment on that Tapatalk or display on other SW because I always use a full blown browser on PC.

Please use the Forum Support desk to describe this problem.
